NASCAR reaches 6 million miles on Sunoco Green E15 (NASCAR.com)

For more than three years, NASCAR has run on a race fuel blended with 15 percent American Ethanol, Sunoco Green E15. This Sunday at the Brickyard here in Indianapolis, one of the world's most historically significant tracks, NASCAR will reach a fittingly historic milestone -- 6 million miles competitive racing on the bio-fuel. Pucker up! NASCAR returns to Brickyard (The Associated Press)

Sprint Cup Series driver Ryan Newman kisses the yard of bricks after winning the Brickyard 400 auto race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indianapolis, Sunday, July 28, 2013. (AP Photo/Robert Baker)Dale Jarrett loved his win so much he had to celebrate it with a kiss. To which Stewart let loose: "Yeah, if we can raise $25 million, we will put a dome and a roof over top of Eldora Speedway. We have a fellow competitor who is a large engineer and he's figured out what it would actually take to put a roof over Eldora, so it's about a $25 million project to do if we were able to get an event like a (NASCAR Sprint) Cup race. read more...
